The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in Activity First Aid (RQF) is a nationally recognised, Ofqual-regulated

qualification designed for those responsible for providing first aid in activity-based environments. This

includes settings such as sports clubs, outdoor activities, schools, youth groups, and organisations

running physical or recreational activities.

This 2-day course equips learners with the skills and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range

of incidents, from life-threatening emergencies to minor injuries that can occur during organised

activities.

What You’ll Learn:

Roles and responsibilities of a first aider How to assess an incident Managing an unresponsive casualty CPR and safe use of a defibrillator Recovery position Heart attack and stroke Head, neck, and back injuries Chest and abdominal injuries External bleeding and shock Burns and scalds Choking and poisoning Anaphylaxis and asthma Diabetes Epilepsy and seizures Effects of hot and cold temperatures Sprains, strains, fractures, and dislocations Eye injuries Minor injuries This course is ideal for organisations and activity leaders who need comprehensive first aid training tailored to active and dynamic environments.
