The Qualsafe Level 2 Award in First Aid Essentials (RQF) is a nationally recognised, Ofqual-regulated

qualification designed for those who have a specific responsibility or interest in providing basic first aid

at work, or within voluntary and community settings.

This 1-day course equips learners with the practical knowledge and confidence to respond safely and

effectively to a range of common first aid emergencies, making it ideal for nominated first aiders who

do not require full First Aid at Work certification.

What You’ll Learn:

• The role and responsibilities of a first aider • How to assess an incident • Managing an unresponsive casualty • CPR and safe use of a defibrillator • Recovery position • Choking • Seizures • Shock • External bleeding • Minor injuries, including: Cuts, grazes, and bruises • Minor burns and scalds • Accident reporting procedures This course is well suited to workplaces, community groups, and organisations looking for a practical introduction to first aid without the need for a full FAW or EFAW qualification.

Duration: 1 Day Certification: Valid for 3 years Location: On-site delivery available across Alnwick, Morpeth, and Northumberland Accreditation: Qualsafe Awards | Ofqual-regulated
